1 Day Ngamba Island Tour
1 Day Ngamba Island tour takes you to the chimpanzee sanctuary. This Ngamba Sanctuary is a home to 49 orphaned chimpanzees. The Island is located in Lake Victoria, 23 km from Entebbe mainland. The Ngamba Island is approximately 100 acres, 98 of which is the forest. These orphaned and confiscated chimpanzees were rescued from poachers throughout Uganda.
A 1 Day Ngamba Island Tour gives an exceptional chance to view the chimpanzees at a close range as they feed and as well as interact with each other. This is the Only place which does not restrict age unlike other chimpanzee tracking parks like Kibale National Park, Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth and Budongo Forests in Murchison falls.
