9 Days Super Uganda Gorilla Safari

Our safari driver from Twende Expeditions will then receive you upon your arrival at the airport. Then drive you to Sunset Hotel Entebbe for your overnight stay; and the warm-up for the start of 9 Days Super Uganda Gorilla Safari (B.B)

Our driver-guide will still brief you about your 9 Days Super Uganda Gorilla Safari, and then drive you to the beautiful Murchison falls, National Park. So during your 9 Days Super Uganda Gorilla Safari; you will see the beautiful scenery of the stunning countryside.  You will also have to stopover at  Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola to track rhinos. Afterward, continue to the top of  Murchison falls to see the waters of the River Nile; as they force their way through the narrow 7-meter gorge and still stunningly drop below to 43 meters. Then check in at Murchison River lodge for dinner and overnight. (B.L.D)

Today you will drive to the northern part of the park for a game drive; so expect to see elephants, bushbucks, lions, buffaloes as well as giraffes. Then return to your Lodge for hot lunch. Afterward, go for a 2 hours boat cruise expect to see hippos and Nile crocodiles; as well as buffaloes, elephants and several birds along the shores. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Murchison River Lodge (B.L.D)

You will drive from Murchison Falls National Park and head Southwest going through the beautiful Albertine Escarpment in the Rift Valley to Fort-Portal town. This town is also the capital of the Tooro kingdom; and it’s also in the shadows of the snow-capped “Mountains of the Moon,” Mt. Rwenzori. Then check in to your lodge for an overnight stay at Fort Motel (B.B)

After breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth, expect to see some animals as you drive to your lodge inside the park for hot lunch. Then in the afternoon, you will enjoy a thrilling 2 hours boat ride on the Kazinga channel; to see a variety of bird species and numerous wild animals along the shores; that is to say, elephants, buffaloes, and hippos. In the evening you will drive to the crater-lakes region for another tour. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge (B.L.D)

After breakfast, you will go for an exciting early game drive going along Queen’s mile and the Kasenyi track. Among the animals, you will see include; warthogs, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and elephants, plus various birds.

In the afternoon you will then drive to the Kyambura gorge; where you will track habituated chimpanzees as well as encounter other primates. Then, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge(B.L.D)

You will have breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive southwards to Bwindi via Ishasha. Look out for the famous tree climbing lions in the acacia trees. Then arrive in the evening, check into your lodge for dinner and overnight at Buhoma Haven Lodge (B.L.D)

After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters to be briefed by the park rangers about mountain gorillas.  At 8:00 am you will set out into the impenetrable in groups led by park guides and rangers. Then spend an hour with them taking photographs, videos as well as observing their fantastic way of life. Return to the lodge, check out and then drive to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale known as the “Switzerland of Uganda.” Then check into your lodge for dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages. (BLD)

Finally, you will enjoy a 2 hours canoe ride on the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi to see different small islands. Then visit the local Bakiga people as well as learn about their amazing culture. Then drive back to Kampala.
