8 Days Kidepo Safari plus Murchison falls Wildlife

Upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be met by our safari guide from Twende who will then brief you about the 8 Days Kidepo valley-Murchison falls wildlife Safaris. Then transfer you to Airport Guesthouse for overnight. (B.B)

After breakfast our guide will pick you at your lodge then take you through a quick briefing about the 8 Days Kidepo- Murchison falls wildlife Safaris. Then drive you to Kidepo valley which is about 10 hours drive from Kampala via Gulu, Kitgum and then arrive in Kidepo valley through Lokumoit Gate. Then check in the lodge  for dinner and overnight at Kidepo Savanna lodge (B.L.D)

Morning and evening game drive in the park with chances to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, hyenas and a variety of bird species like ostriches. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kidepo Savanna lodge (B.L.D)

After breakfast, you will head out to the park for a morning game drive. Then in the evening, you will tour the Karamojong manyattas to learn about their way of living. Some other traditions are like tasting their locally prepared traditional dishes, interacting with the locals as well as listening to tales of their folklore. It will be an exciting and enjoyable evening. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Kidepo Savanna lodge

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Gulu.  You will visit Fort Patiko or Baker’s fort which was a military fort that was completed in 1872 by Sir Samuel Baker to stop the slave trade. You will later have lunch and then check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Bomah hotel. (B.L.D)

After breakfast you will transfer to Murchison falls national park with lunch en route. Check in your lodge. Then later go for an evening game drive expect to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes. After that return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison (B.L.D)

After breakfast, you will head out for an early morning game drive to spot some animals such as giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and hyenas. Then in the evening, you will enjoy a 2 hours boat cruise upstream to the bottom of the Murchison Falls; to offer you a closer view of the mighty waterfall on River Nile. Expect to see schools of hippos and Nile crocodiles as well as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks at the shores. The river bank has a variety of bird species including the rare shoebill stork. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison. (BLD)

Finally, after breakfast, you will drive to Budongo forest to track chimpanzees at an extra $95 per person. Then stop over to track white rhinos at Ziwa rhino sanctuary in Nakasongola district on your way to Kampala; at an additional $50 per person. Then drive to Entebbe in time to catch your flight back home.
