7 Days Chimpanzee & Wildlife safari

Meet our guide from Twende Expeditions upon arrival at the airport, who will transfer you to Kampala for the overnight stay at Mestil Hotell. (B.B)

After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel then drive you to around Kampala the capital city of Uganda. You will, therefore, visit historical sites like Uganda Museum, Kasubi tombs and religious sites like; the Bahai temple, Rubaga, Namirembe cathedral and Gaddafi mosque. After that have lunch at any of the restaurants in town and then visit the Nakasero markets and Owino market. Return to Mestil hotel for overnight stay. (B.B)

After breakfast, our guide will brief you about this Chimpanzee & Wildlife safari seven days then drive you Kibale. Check into your lodge and have a hot lunch. Proceed for the Bigodi swamp walk in the evening to see primates as well as a variety of birds. After that return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale. (BLD)

After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarter for a briefing about chimpanzee tracking. After that join the Rangers as you search for the chimps in the forest; once you have found them, you will spend an hour observing and taking photos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale. (BLD)

Have breakfast, check out and then transfer to Murchison falls with lunch en route. Then proceed for an evening game drive in the park; expect to see elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes and also warthogs. Later check in your lodge for dinner and overnight at Murchison River Lodge. (BLD) 

After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive searching for giraffes, Hyenas, lions, Leopard, elephants, and hartebeest. After that return to the lodge for hot lunch followed by a 2 hours thrilling boat cruise upstream to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. This cruise will offer you a closer view of the mighty waterfall of the River Nile. Expect to see hippos and Nile crocodiles; as well as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks along the shores. The river bank also has a variety of bird species including the rare shoebill stork. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Murchison River Lodge. (BLD) 

Today is the final day of the 7 Days Chimpanzee & Wildlife safari; have breakfast, check out of the lodge and then drive to Kampala. Also, stop over at Ziwa rhino sanctuary to track rhinos at an extra cost of $50 per person; Then go on a shopping spree; at the craft market on Buganda road before proceeding to the airport in time to catch your flight back home.
