Meet our driver/Guide at Entebbe International Airport then transfer to your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight at Central Inn Entebbe. (B.B)
This morning after breakfast our safari guide will pick you from the hotel and brief you about the gorilla trekking safari and then drive you southwestwards of Uganda. Have a brief stopover at the equator line for the water experiment and photographs. Later proceed to Mbarara for lunch. Afterward, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable national park as you pass through mountains and the tropical rain forests. Check into your lodge for dinner and overnight at Gorilla valley lodge. (B.L.D)
After breakfast drive to the park briefing area for gorilla trekking guidelines; allocation of gorilla trekking groups according to the available gorilla families to be tracked. Join the park ranger in search of the mountain gorillas which is sometimes a long and strenuous walk. The hike takes between 2-6 hours. Therefore we recommend one to be physically fit. However, on finding them, you will spend an hour observing, taking photographs and video of these amazing gentle giants. Return to the briefing area for lunch and later return to the lodge and relax the entire evening. Then dinner and overnight at Gorilla valley lodge (B.L.D)
After early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Mgahinga briefing area for guidelines about golden monkey tracking. Later, hike the volcanic terrain covered with dense bamboo forest in search of the golden monkeys. In the evening you will enjoy the Batwa pygmies trail. They will showcase their unique culture and also learn about the herbal medicines they use. Batwa pygmies were hunters and gatherers who depended on the forest for shelter, medicine, and food. Also, visit the Sacred Garama cave which was the spiritual and cultural site. The revenue generated from this activity directly benefits this Batwa pygmies community. Afterwards drive and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for your overnight stay at Arcadia lodge (B.L.D)
After breakfast, bid farewell to the land of mountain gorillas as you drive back to Entebbe. Have lunch en route and then make it to the airport in time to board your flight back home.
