The 5 Days Gorillas Bwindi and wildlife safari includes trekking / tracking the giant Mountain Gorillas in the Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. The Bwindi forest is home to roughly half of the world’s remaining shy giant mountain gorillas.
Then a fantastic wildlife tour in Queen Elizabeth National Park a home to the tree climbing lions in Ishasha, and track chimpanzees in Kyambura gorge.

Today early morning you will meet our driver – guide from Twende Expeditions who will drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Expect a stopover at Mpambire traditional drum makers and the Uganda Equator. You will see the beautiful plantations of bananas and coffee as well as the long-horned Ankole cattle. Have lunch in Mbarara town and then continue to the park. Dinner and overnight at Haven Lodge Buhoma . (B.L.D)
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park wardens about this activity. At 8:00 am you will set out to the Gorilla groups led by park guides and rangers. Dressed in hiking boots, walking sticks, rain jacket some drinking water and packed lunch, you will move into the forest.
The duration for your search is unpredictable as the movements of the gorillas determine it; however on finding the gentle giants, you will spend about an hour with them; taking photographs, videos and observing their fantastic way of life. In the evening you will visit the Batwa pygmies in their new communities
Later you will return to Haven Lodge Buhoma for dinner and overnight (B.L.D).
After your breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving through Ishasha-the southern part of this park. As you drive in search of the tree climbing lions, you will see their prey grazing in the plains. Dine and spend the night at Bush Lodge.(BLD).
A morning game drive in the Park gives you a chance to the see early risers like; Lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes and if lucky a leopard. You will return for lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon take a thrilling 2 hours boat cruise on the beautiful Kazinga Channel. During the boat ride, you will see hippos, crocodiles, a variety of bird species, wild animals as they come to drink water. Dinner and spend your night at Bush Lodge.(BLD).
After breakfast, set out to Kyambura gorge to track Chimpanzees. Later return to Kampala, Or transfer to Entebbe International airport in time to catch your flight back home.
