Murchison falls National park is named after the Falls that transect through the park and explodes through a narrow gorge and falls 43m with a loud roar. The park is located on the Kampala-Gulu highway and is easily accessible by road. The activities in the park are mainly game drives, boat cruises to the bottom of the falls, hikes to the top of the falls and Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest. The Launch trips are the highlights of any visit to the park where you see different wildlife along the shores and majestic views of the falls. Murchison Falls  is home to over 450 bird species and over 76 mammals. The Rhino is the only big five that is absent in the park but can be trekked along the way in Ziwa a sanctuary in Nakasongola district where breeding is done. Detailed Itinerary of the 3 Days Murchison Falls wildlife safari

Day 1 Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

Meet our driver at your residence or hotel who will brief and drive to Murchison for the Murchison Falls wildlife safari. Stopover in Nakasongola at the Rhino sanctuary for a Rhino trek. Continue to the park and arrive in the afternoon. Passby the top of the falls and later on proceed to the Lodge for Lunch. After a hot Lunch, you will head out for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison Lodge. (BLD)

Day 2Game drives- Boat cruise.

Very early in the morning depart for a morning game drive. Expect to see Elephants, Buffalos, Antelopes, Lions, Giraffes and many varieties of birds. Return for lunch and relax as you wait for the afternoon boat cruise. During the cruise, you will see a variety of wildlife as they come by the banks to drink water. Expect to see huge numbers of hippos and crocodiles as you take pictures and videos at a very close range. The cruise takes 3 hours and afterward return to your Lodge for dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison Lodge. (BLD)

Day 3Departure.

Finally, after breakfast check out of your Lodge and with packed lunch you will say goodbye to Murchison Falls. Our driver will drop you at your residence or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
