Horse Riding In Lake Mburo National Park Uganda

Horse riding in Lake Mburo national park, is one of the most interesting things that makes one to feel part of nature. One comes closer to the most timid animals for example when doing horse riding, zebras come close to you with their black and white stripes but still keep a distance. Horse riding is done for about two five hours ride across the African Savannah accentuated at Lake mburo accompanied with the rolling hills valleys and various lakes in and around lake mburo.  It is the only park in Uganda to carry out a game of horse riding.

At Lake Mburo national park, you can take a 4 to 5 hour horse safari ride across the African savannah. You can a beautiful safari experience on horseback and see amazing views of the park. You will appreciate the sight of Lake Mburo, the rolling hills of the west, valleys, various small lakes in and around Lake Mburo national park, and some wildlife. It is an exciting way to explore the African wild, it gives you the feel of a western movies

The Horseback Safari is a safe and sane experience. You will be assigned with well trained guides as you venture out for your time in the rolling savannah of Lake Mburo National Park. You do not have to be a very experienced rider to enjoy this amazing adventure. Even an amateur rider will enjoy the horse back safari experience in Lake Mburo national park. You will see some amazing scenery and views of wildlife in Uganda. Some of the animals you might see on your horseback ride include: Giant Elands, Topi, Impala, Duikers, Bushbucks, Waterbucks, Burchell Zebras and so many more. You will also see a variety of bird species, and interesting vegetation.

Where to find the horses?

The horseback safaris are run by Mihingo Safari Lodge which has about seven horses and four ponies. Each horseback safari trip can have a maximum of 6 participants or riders, so yo do not have to be worried about the experience being crowded.
